Uploading to multiple sites with Filezilla. How do I do it?

If I have 2 domains pointing to the host gator servers (my host) and i created 2 domains in the host gator cpanel…

… and I can see both the new folders domain1.com and domain2.com under the public_html where do i put the index.html file for domain 1 and the index.html file for domain 2?

I can’t put both directly under the public_html file otherwise it’ll be confused right? There’ll be an error right?

When I put the site including the index.html in the folder domain1.com under the public_html it doesn’t show up when i access the domain1.com

What’s the deal?? How can I fix this?

Chosen Answer:

Both folders should be in public html.
Upload site one into domain folder 1, and site 2 into domain folder 2.
Then type the address into the address bar, and you’ll see that everything works the way it’s supposed to.
